You can secure Rental Packages by dealing directly with the Brand  or resort operator and also by being connected with and individual owner through a variety of platforms.  

Keep in mind that  because this is timeshare, the ownership of each condo can be shared by 50 people….about one week per person.  The good news / bad news is that, at each resort, every place you stay will be similar to every other.

 Owning Preview - Vacation Homes

Home Ownership allows you to choose to buy your Vacation Home or Condo just as you would owning your primary home.  The challenge becomes the cost, maintenance and upkeep balanced with how many weeks a year you use it.  For many who own the Vacation Home or Condo, they choose to rent to cover those carry costs - and hopefully even make more than those costs.  Renting on your own is an option, and of course using the various platforms described above give you even more options.

However, as alternative to investing to own the entire Vacation Home or Condo, there are several other options.

Home Subscription companies, such as Inspirato, offer travelers the right to use vacation Homes for which the company has previously secured long-term leases. This is comparable to the WeWork model of subletting use of long-term leases.  

Home Membership models generally provide access to vacation homes owned either by the company itself (Exclusive Resorts) or homes owned by the Members (Pacaso) through a fractional ownership structure. That is, where each member gets ¼ (or other percentage) ownership of a particular home in the system.

Owning Preview - Vacation Clubs

Most of the Vacation Club operators offer  promotional Preview Packages. This are different from a standard rental package. 

The prices for these Preview Packages are discounted by 50% or more, provided that during your vacation you & your significant other attend a  +/- 90 minutes timeshare sales presentation. 

You will meet with a Sale Executive who will spend time getting to know you and help discover your vacation needs.  Once they do this they will talk about how thier program can help solve your needs, show you the resort and then ask you to join.

Its not as painful as some people say.   This is especially true when you stay with the top brands. 

The brand integrity they each hold dear help ensure the sales experience will be an enjoyable one for you and your family.​   The sales presentation preview can also offer you an opportunities to get some discounts and promotional packages.
